Hampton Inn Council Bluffs

Property was right off the interstate, with the Missouri River as its back yard. Also physically connected to the Holiday Inn and the Ameristar Casino via interior passageways. Plenty of parking space, even for cars towing trailers. Check-in was seamless, all of my questions were answered by a courteous front desk employee. Our room smelled good! Very clean, comfortable king bed, modern bathroom with glass enclosed shower and complimentary shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good for both days of our stay, alternating between the faux fried and scrambled eggs, sausage patties and ham rounds.

The breakfast was just OK. The eggs weren’t to die for. They were kind of nasty. I think everything else was OK.

The lobby, halls and room were very clean. The bathroom had full size body and hair care products. Breakfast tasted very good!

Location worked perfectly fine. Desk staff very personable: Teresa was her name.

We have stayed in motels for the last half a month. I always shoot for Hamptons, but the prices have been too high for us being on an extended trip. We treated ourselves last night, and I am glad we did! Everything about the room is well thought out and comfortable/very nice. I liked the ability to walk to the casino. Breakfast this morning was extremely good and different from the rest! River view was awesome.
